What is the difference between gross and net rewards here?
Gross rewards are the BTC a miner produces per day, valued in USD. Net is what remains after implied service and maintenance costs. In this model costs are about 26.29% of gross rewards.
What happens if the BTC price falls?
Rewards are paid in BTC but maintenance is a USD cost, so a lower BTC price squeezes net earnings quickly and can turn them negative. The model's rewards imply a BTC price of about $85,812; try a lower price in the calculator to see the effect.
Are the numbers on this site my actual wallet results?
No. The earnings shown are modeled from the published inputs on the methodology page (miner price, daily reward, net yield) applied to a fixed starting amount and the time since the test began. They will differ from what any individual account actually receives.
